BOOTCAMP -Session 3
Rock Town's Roller Derby Bootcamp is a 12-week program dedicated to training and developing skaters and skating officials for flat track roller derby. We welcome all skill levels! Never Skated before, that is absolutely fine! At the end each 12-week session, there will be a skills assessment to determine readiness to move to the next level should you wish to be scrimmage or roster eligible.
When Is it?
Bootcamp is held once weekly for 12 weeks on Wednesday evenings.

In the meantime here is some helpful information:
Our adult league is open to women ages 18+. Men and women make up our coaching, refereeing, non-skating officials, and support staff- which is also open to anyone 18 and up. Flat track roller derby is a fast-paced contact team sport that requires speed, strategy, and athleticism. Rock Town Roller Derby is a women's and gender-expansive, flat-track roller derby league based in Little Rock, Arkansas.
What will I learn?
We will teach you everything you need to know in order to begin to play or officiate roller derby.
What do I need?
All participants are required to wear all of the following protective gear:
HELMET
WRIST GUARDS
ELBOW PADS
KNEE PADS
MOUTH GUARD
4 WHEEL (QUAD) ROLLER SKATES
If you don't yet have these items- No worries! We have gear to loan you and rink skates available. You MUST provide your own mouthguard.
How much is it?
Dues are $35 a month -
Payment is due on or before first day of bookcamp:

Never played? Come learn! Used to play? Come back! Skating/Non-skating official or volunteer? Yes you! We are actively recruiting & want anyone interested to join our boot camp and learn more.
2 Informational meetings available- August 28th or 30th at 7:30 PM at Arkansas Skatium; training starts September 6 from 7:30 to 9. We'll take new skaters into the training camp Until October 5.
